In 2016 the event will come alive with the best intructors and performers from around Australia and the world.
Our artist will includes local, national & international dancers who are without doubt the BEST of the BEST at what they do.
This year's line-up of professionals have an outstanding and respected profile within the Latin dance scene and they will all be at BLDF ready to teach, perform, judge, and DANCE with YOU all weekend.

Salsa, Mambo, Bachata, Zouk, Kizomba, Cha Cha Cha, Latin Hustle, Samba, Spin Technique, ..... and so much more.
To attend workshops you will need to purchase an event pass.
World Salsa Solo prizes include trophies, titles, prize money, paid international flights and accommodation, dance merchandize, and qualification into other world championships.

Cash prizes will be effective only if there is a minimum of 8 entries in any given category.

The organization reserves the right to merge or withdraw any categories with under 5 entries.
1st, 2nd and 3rd placings in the Pro Male Salsa Solo and Female Pro Salsa Solo Australia & International categories qualify into the World Salsa Solo to be in the running for more titles, trophies and cash prizes.
In 2015 we are again hosting the official qualifier for the World Salsa Summit, held in Miami 3-8 February 2016. 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings in partnered couples categories qualify to compete at the World Salsa Summit in Miami.
As the grand prize for World Salsa Solo we will be sending one lucky couple all expenses paid to represent Australia at the World Salsa Summit.
